Pregnancy and having a baby is a very important and life changing step. Those who what to have babies should pick the best moment because a baby brings a lot of responsibility and not just for a few months but for the rest of your life. Unfortunately we cannot plan everything. Nowadays, with all the contraceptive methods there are women, still remain pregnant without wanting a baby. Maybe it's the lack of attention, maybe it's unconsciousness , either way, the rate of abortions in 2008 was very concerning. If women , grown up women have these kind of mistakes, what should we ask from teenagers.

Teenagers want to explore and want to try new things. For them sex is a curiosity and the hidden pleasures of sex are still yet to be discovered teenagers make the mistake of having unprotected sex with the first nice guy they meet. In school children do not learn so many things about sex and so their knowledge is in some way restricted. At home parents do not talk with their children about sex and what it involves, because it's awkward so, teenagers are left to learn on their own. Nowadays, it seems that teenagers know much more about sex than adults. Sex has become such a open subject that everyone talks about it and everyone practice it. Even so, there are still many Teen Pregnancies .

A young teenage girl who just got out of the school benches, pregnant, has no future. Many drop out school because they can't keep coming to courses with the belly up to their nose and so they either get a job to have money or they stay at home and take care of the baby. Teen Pregnancies rarely lead to a marriage and a nice family. Because they are still young, the two partners do not love each other and so they do not get married. In most cases, the girl doesn't even know the boy, so it's a very sad situation. In case of an unwanted pregnancy there is always the option of abortion. But some teen girls find out they are pregnant too late and they can't make an abortion anymore. How is this possible? Well, many girls know that when their period doesn't come it's a bad sign. But some do not pay attention, others think they have been sick and now the period will come with a short delay etc.

The early signs of pregnancy exist for a reason, so that unwanted pregnancies do not happen. Teenage girls make the mistake of not talking to their mothers or parents and so, they leave things as they are in hope of something happening. In the end, the Teen Pregnancy rate is very alarming. Teenage girls should go to their doctor and at least take some birth control pills. We live in a society where many things have changed, we are more open minded, we are more outgoing, so parents should understand the new generation and be friends to their children not only parents. Teenagers are teenagers, but if you know how to discuss with them, they will understand. Do not punish your child for wanting to have sex, encourage him is not ok either, but at least try to show him or her the good side and the bad one.
