Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman known by her professionally name as Raven-Symoné or Raven, was born on 10 December 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, but at the age of three her parents decided to move to Ossining, New York. She is known as an American actress, singer-songwriter, dancer, television producer, and model. In her childhood, she worked for Atlanta's Young Faces Inc. Modeling Agency being featured in local advertisements. As a young child she appeared in ads like: Ritz crackers, Jell-O, Fisher-Price, and Cool Whip. The starting point in her television career was her 3 years role in The Cosby Show, hosted by Bill Cosby. Then she played the role of the younger version of Halle Berry's starring character, a biracial slave, in the movie based on the book by Alex Haley, called Queen: The Story of an American Family. After she finished the collaboration with The Bill Cosby Show she started a collaboration with Hangin' with Mr. Cooper playing the role of Nicole Lee. During this show she got her first big role in the Eddie Murphy comedy Dr. Dolittle  and Dr. Dolittle 2.

Her movie career became more an more prolific, in 2002 she got an additional role in the  up-coming series for the Disney Channel, Absolutely Psychic, but soon her role was changed and she became the leading actress of the movie and the name of the movie became That's So Raven. This serial became the Disney Channel's highest-rated and longest-running series and it was nominated for Outstanding Children's Program in 2005 and for Emmy Awards in 2007. In 2003, she started a new project as lead singer Galleria Garibaldi in The Cheetah Girls, a Disney Channel Original Movie. In 2006, Raven-Symoné served as executive producer in the movie The Cheetah Girls 2. In 2008 she got her first leading role in the comedy called College Road Trip.

In 2008 and 2009 she tried something new, she provided her voice for the Disney Fairies project, Tinker Bell and Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. In the present, she works for  at a made for television film called Revenge of The Bridesmaids on ABC Family. Her music career started at the age of 5 with a contract signed with MCA Records. She took music lessons form Melissa Elliott and released her first album on 22 June 1993 Here’s to New Dreams. In 1996, Raven founded RayBlaze Records and signed a distribution deal with Crash Records for her sophomore album Undeniable.

Raven Symone knew success since her childhood. She didn’t had time to play or live her adolescence like a normal teenager. She was always in the spotlights. In 2008, over the Internet appeared rumors that Raven Symone, the 23 years old actress, singer and producer is pregnant with non other then her childhood gay friend  Jussie Smollett. The rumor article created a big controversy and draw the attention of the public, because the news stated also that Raven gave birth to a baby girl, named  Lilianna Pearman, in a Hospital in Atlanta. But, Raven Symone denied the news and she said that she hasn’t been pregnant.
