Even if you expect it from happening, even if you don’t, the pregnancy starts with some signs that will let you know that you are pregnant. The pregnancy signs may start to appear even after 10-12 after the sexual intercourse that led to the fertilization of the egg by the sperm.
The early pregnancy signs may be noticed or not by the pregnant women, in some women the early pregnancy signs may appear before the missed period and other women the early pregnancy signs may not appear at all. In order to identify the early pregnancy signs, the women have to know what are those pregnancy signs.

Implantation is probably the first pregnancy sign, that is not recognized by the majority of the pregnant women. Let’s see first of all, what is the implantation, for people who don’t know. The implantation is the process of attachment of the fertilized egg (the egg released by the woman’s ovaries combined with the man’s sperm, also called blastocyst) into the lining of the woman’s uterus.

The egg is released by the ovaries into the cervix and there is fertilized by the sperm, then the fertilized egg travels through the fallopian tube into the uterus. This journey of the fertilized egg towards the uterus lasts around 9 days after the ovulation, and the implantation happens within 1 to 2 days after the arrival of the fertilized egg into the uterus. During this period of time, the fertilized egg is barely visible to the naked eye. Once the fertilized egg has implanted itself into the uterus, it becomes the embryo.

The signs of the pregnancy implantation are bleeding or brown discharge and sometimes cramping. Some specialists say that the pregnancy implantation cannot be felt by women, but there are women who contradict the opinion of the specialists and say that during pregnancy implantation they felt light cramping in the abdomen area. Only few women experience this pregnancy sign.
The implantation bleeding usually happens at approximately one week before the menstrual cycle. Women refer to the implantation bleeding as spotting and some women don’t even notice this pregnancy sign. If you notice spotting closer to the first day of the menstrual cycle, the chances of that bleeding to be implantation bleeding decreases.
If you observe with attention the implantation bleeding you will notice that the blood is not fresh, it has a dark brown, even black color. If the spotting is fallowed by a normal menstrual cycle, the blood that flowed is not associated with the implantation of the egg.
Other signs of pregnancy implantation that aren’t very easy to notice are: a second temperature shift on the temperature curve or a temperature dip occurring at approximately 6 to 10 days after the ovulation.
As I said before many woman don’t know about those early pregnancy symptoms and give no importance to the light cramps, spotting or temperature changes and sometimes associate those symptoms to other factors, not with the pregnancy. These symptoms may occur in women, but without conception of the baby happening. The specialists say that those signs of implantation aren’t reliable, but can offer clues regarding the possible presence of a pregnancy that should be further investigated with a home pregnancy test or with a consultation to the health care provider.
If you know about those early pregnancy symptoms, or if you try to conceive is easy for you to identify those early pregnancy signs and if not, you might not even notice them. Is important to recognise those early pregnancy signs, especially if you take birth control pills.
