Here are some examples of the situations when they are protected: when a pregnant women wants to start working in some place, an employers cannot refuse her on this account or because of any related condition. The only problem is that, everyone knows a pregnant women will eventually want to take a break and take care of her child, she will also work less because of her condition , even less if she is in an advanced pregnancy, and so, many employers prefer to not go through a hustle with this situation . In one way it's the right thing to do for your business, on the other hand, pregnant women, just as gay people, all minorities have their rights.
