Sex is no longer a tabu subject as it was many years ago. Nowadays , our society, accepts all kinds of weird things, and we have learned how to accept each other. Sex is no longer something to be ashamed of  and so, many have started to talk freely about sex, sexual positions, pregnancy, and kinky stuff. Many people have shown their sexual preferences, so, nowadays, we have gay cuples, and gay marriages. Many countries have made legal the union between two people of the same sex. Sex, is taken as a pleasure, a game, a fun activity. With all the contraceptive methods there are today, women, mostly teenagers still remain pregnant.

Sex should be done, for pleasure but having some limit. Wearing protection like condoms, can keep you safe from diseases and also preventing an unwanted pregnancy. The Causes of Teenage Pregnancy, are mostly recklessness. Many teenagers, don't think when they have sex, or don't care very much what happens next. Also alcohol consumed in great quantities, can make teenagers lose their minds and not think. The consequences are pregnancy or different diseases. A pregnancy can be detected after a few days, from 6 to 10 days, from the sexual act. Usually teenagers can tell when they are pregnant, if their menstruation delays. In this case, going to a doctor is the best solution. The percentage of abortions has increased greatly in the last few years.

One of the Causes of Teenage Pregnancy, is the fact that teenagers have raging hormones, and they don't think before acting. They usually say that this won't happen to them,  as it happens on the tv. Also they are usually afraid or embarrassed to tell their partner to use protection. Parents that don't allow their children to have sex, also contribue to teenage pregnancy. Because parents do not allow their young daughter, to take any birth control pills, or do not approve to have condoms, many do it without them, or just out of spike.

Teenage girls , are very open to all kinds of risks. An abortion at their age could mess their life entirely. Also there are teenagers that don't know they are pregnant, don't say anything to their parents if their cycle doesn't come in time, and after a few months, find out they are pregnant, and there is nothing they can do about it. Pregnancy at an early age, can destroy the future of a teenage girl. For many it's shameful to be pregnant, they prefer to quit school, and start working.

Having sex, means great responsability, just as being pregnant means dedicating your life to your child. Teenagers, need to learn and be encouraged to have sex, but use protection. There are many sexual education classes, that explain to teenagers what does sex mean. These classes don't have such a big impact on teenagers, and maybe  the approach should be changed a little bit.
